  When we walked in, we stood waiting to be acknowledged for a few minutes. Several servers looked at us but no one came over to seat us. They had a larger party on the other side but they appeared to be done eating and were just drinking. When the server finally came over, she seemed bothered by the fact that we had 11 in our group (6 adults, 5 kids). We had just gotten done with the memorial for husband and brothers-in-law's grandmother and it was about 8:30. The kids were tired and hungry. She seemed put out by us and wasn't very kind to start off with. She immediately informed us that they had no kids menu in a way that made me feel like she was hoping we'd leave once we knew. We put our orders in a little after 8:45. By 9:30 we had no food still. The server started to warm up to us and stayed on top of our drinks. We finally got our array of sandwiches/fries and 2 dinners. The only complaints I heard from the table regarding the food were that the burgers had no flavor (although cooked perfectly to order!) and the grilled cheese was gross. If we'd known the service was so slow, with hungry and tired kids we would've gone elsewhere.

  Was looking forward to trying this place out. Food was average at best service was good but overall didn't live up to expectations.

  Bar tender unavailable waited 7 minutes at the bar for a beer that a waitress finally came and served. Bartender was inconvenienced by waiting on us because they had glassware to put away , only 4 customers there. The salad bar was satisfactory, however we waited an unusually long time for the Chicken Parmesan. Which when in arrived was cold and sitting in water. Thought we would give them another try after last year's disappointment at Clay County Fair time. Unfortunately not again, terrible experience.

  After waiting almost an hour for our appetizer that we ordered at the same time as our regular food, we waited another 30 minutes and then asked the waitress how much longer it would be. She said she had no idea, so we paid for our appetizer and drinks and left. Horrible experience and the waitress didn't even seem to care.

  Always a great time with great drinks and food. Expect a little wait for your food but the drinks fill the gap.
